Laphroaig distillery was established in 1815 on the southern shore of Islay, and remains one of Scotland's most distinctive and celebrated single malt producers. It is held by Royal Warrant as distiller and supplier to HRH The Prince of Wales, and is today part of the Beam Suntory group. This 30 Year Old expression, labelled 'Extremely Rare', was distilled and bottled at Laphroaig Distillery on the Isle of Islay at 43% ABV. The bottle is presented in the classic white-label format and was imported into the United States by Hiram Walker & Sons Inc., Southfield, MI, indicating a release intended for the American market. The 75cl size is consistent with US market bottlings of this era.
