A 30 year old Islay single malt from Laphroaig, in a 700ml bottle at 53.5% ABV. It was matured twice in bourbon casks and is peated.
The nose is mandarin and mango with toasted almond and coconut, while the peat oils show as cedar, wintergreen and smoked sage. The palate is oily, with orange peel, vanilla and coriander leaf alongside wild root ginseng. The finish is long, with stone fruit and green hand-rolled tobacco.
