Laphroaig – 30 Year Old The Ian Hunter Story Book 2: Building an Icon is a single malt whisky from Laphroaig (Islay). Aged 30 years, bottled at 48.2% ABV, 70cl. This 30 year old single malt is the second release in The Ian Hunter Story from Islay's Laphroaig distillery. The story is a fifteen-part series of rare aged single malts, celebrating chapters in the life of Ian Hunter, the last member of the distillery's founding family to own and manage Laphroaig. Hunter took the helm of the distillery in 1908 and was responsible for launching Laphroaig as a single malt. This series commemorates Hunter's influence and celebrates the unique spirit that he helped create. This release has been matured in Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks and has been bottled at a strength of 48.2% abv. Comes with its box.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
