This is a Laphroaig 30 year old Islay single malt, bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle. It matured in both American oak and ex-sherry casks.
The colour is an elegant amber. The nose opens fruity and sweet, with orange and lemon peel, vanilla custard and treacle toffee. The palate carries delicate notes of bergamot, sweetness, fresh thyme and white pepper, and the finish brings burning peat smoke and sooty campfire.
