Laphroaig 34 Year Old is the fourth volume in the distillery's Ian Hunter Story series, a single malt from the 1987 vintage.
The spirit was matured in American white oak barrels that had previously held bourbon. It then received a finish in first-fill European oak casks that had previously held oloroso sherry, and was bottled at 34 years old.
