This is Laphroaig 34 Year Old, Book 5 in the Ian Hunter Story series, which concludes with this bottling. The series honours Ian Hunter, the last of the Johnston family to own and manage the Laphroaig distillery, between 1908 and 1944.
The single malt was matured in first-fill bourbon American oak barrels and Pedro Ximénez hogsheads. It was bottled at 45.5% ABV without chill-filtration.
