This is the 2020 Feis Ile edition of Laphroaig Cairdeas, an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle at 52% ABV. It was bottled in 2020.
The whisky was matured in second-fill Ruby Port and red wine casks, then refined in traditionally charred ex-Bourbon barrels.
The tasting notes describe ripe peach and plum jam on the nose. The palate shows medicinal peat with hints of honey, and the finish is long and smoky with a trace of wine.
