This is the 2026 Cairdeas Feis Ile bottling from Laphroaig, a single malt matured in French oak and bottled in 2026 at 52.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is smoky, sweet and savoury, with fresh wood shavings, earthy peat smoke, leather, stone fruit, coffee, dark chocolate, maraschino cherries and a briny, iodine edge. The palate offers campfire smoke, vanilla and black liquorice, alongside dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, star anise and cherries.
The finish is long and saline, with smoked ham, lingering woodsmoke, dried fruit and warming spice.
