Laphroaig Cairdeas Ileach Edition 2011 is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, matured in ex-bourbon Maker's Mark casks. The casks were aged in an earthen floor dunnage warehouse, exposing them to the natural Islay weather and climate.
It was crafted by John Campbell, the first Islay-born Laphroaig Master Distiller, and takes its name from 'Ileach', the Gaelic for 'native of Islay'. The edition is limited to 3750 bottles in total.
