This is Laphroaig Cairdeas Origin, a limited edition Islay single malt released for Feis Ile 2012, in a 70cl bottle.
Cairdeas means friendship in Gaelic, and the series is made for the Friends of Laphroaig community. The Origin edition pays tribute to the roots of the distillery's character.
It is described as showing bold peat smoke, maritime influence and medicinal notes, balanced by a touch of sweetness and citrus.
