This is the 2021 Cairdeas from Laphroaig, an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, released to celebrate the Friends of Laphroaig.
The whisky was first matured in a first-fill American oak ex-bourbon barrel, then in an American oak ex-bourbon quarter cask, and finally finished in European Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. It was bottled in 2021 at a cask strength of 58.9% ABV.
