Elements 3.0 is a small batch, cask strength Laphroaig single malt from Islay, bottled at 55.3% ABV. It is the third release in the Elements series. The whisky came about after a fire in the kiln burned peat for longer and at higher temperatures than usual. That experiment with heat brought out chocolate and coffee notes, and the whisky is described as having roasted cocoa beans and bitter dark chocolate.
