Lore is an Islay single malt from Laphroaig, a distillery with more than two centuries of history. It is a peated whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, and it comes in a 70cl bottle with a presentation case.
The colour is a pleasant gold. The nose is fresh, with a subtle hint of peat alongside fruit and touches of chocolate.
The palate has very good body and a dry, peaty taste in keeping with the nose.
