Laphroaig – Lore (70cl)

Laphroaig Lore is a single malt from the Islay distillery Laphroaig, in a 70cl bottle. It is a bright gold in the glass, with a character shaped by a variety of woods and different degrees of maturation. The nose is robust peat smoke and coastal, mineral notes, with faint traces of ash and chocolate. The palate is lively, with bitter chocolate, ash and a kick of spicy chilli. The finish is dry and short, followed by a lingering sweet aftertaste.
