Laphroaig Quarter Cask is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle at 48% vol. It is first matured in bourbon casks, then moved into very small quarter casks.
These casks offer 60% more contact surface than standard casks, which brings peat smoke and oak together.
The nose is of peat smoke, oak, coconut and banana. The palate is intense, with peat smoke, spice, tropical fruit and oak. The finish is long, smoky and spicy.
