Laphroaig – Select (70cl)

Laphroaig Select is a single malt from the Islay distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from whisky taken from several types of cask: Oloroso sherry butts, white American oak, Pedro Ximenez seasoned hoggsheads, quarter casks and first-fill bourbon casks. It sits as a relaxed addition to the Laphroaig core range. The nose has classic medicinal peat, with citrus, chocolate sweetness and soft barley. On the palate the peat is gentle, letting lemon, green apple and mint come through, followed by darker baking spices. The finish is of medium length, with the peat lingering to the end.
