Laphroaig Select Cask is an Islay single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is made with malt from several types of cask: Oloroso sherry butts, white American oak, Pedro Ximenez seasoned hoggies, quarter casks and first fill bourbon casks.
It keeps the medicinal character Laphroaig is known for, though the peat is not heavy, which makes it a gentle way into Islay whisky.
