Laphroaig Select is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, pale amber in colour. It is matured in a mix of casks: new American oak, Pedro Ximenez sherry, quarter casks and prime-fill bourbon.
The nose is penetrating, with peat alongside a subtle sweetness of vanilla and spice. On the palate, peat smoke is woven with dried fruit and a trace of nutmeg. The finish is long, with a gentle, lingering smokiness.
