Williamson is the trade name for casks of Laphroaig, named after Bessie Williamson, who managed the distillery from 1939 to 1972. This one is an 8 year old, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2021 at 47.5%.
It matured in a hogshead and is uncoloured and non-chill-filtered. The outturn was 330 bottles, filled for Germany.
It is described as earthy peat smoke with a hint of syrupy toffee and roasted almonds.
