Larceny Barrel Proof Batch A125 is a Kentucky straight wheated bourbon from Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown, in a 75cl bottle. It is bottled uncut and non-chill filtered at barrel proof, 62.5% ABV (125 proof), from bourbon aged 6 to 8 years.
The mash bill is 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley. A125 is the first batch of 2025: A marks the first release of the year, 1 stands for January and 25 for the year.
The nose is candy apple and cinnamon Red Hots, opening into baked apple turnover and dark caramelised sugar. The palate is caramel and pecan praline with gentle spice, balanced by dry oak and char. The finish is round and warm, with white pepper and chocolate-covered cherry.
