Laws San Luis Valley Straight Rye Cask Strength is a single barrel rye from Colorado, bottled at natural cask strength. The rye is grown at 7,400 feet above sea level in the San Luis Valley, on the Cody family farm, which has cultivated this low-yield, semi-wild grain since the 1930s. The spirit is made with an open-air, on-grain sour mash and aged for a minimum of three years in thin mountain air. This barrel was picked for its character and complex flavours, and bottling it undiluted keeps the richness that first drew the distillers to the grain. It has a full texture and a generous perfume.
