Le Portier Shay VSOP Cognac

Le Portier Shay is a VSOP Cognac created by Shannon Sharpe in honour of his grandmother, Mary Porter. It is made in a Charentais copper pot still and aged in French oak, blending eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne and Fins Bois. On the nose and palate it offers caramelised spiced apples, chocolate and the lingering sweetness of butterscotch. The mouthfeel is velvety, with hints of dried fruit and a sweet smokiness reminiscent of s'mores by the campfire.
