Le Vigne di Zamò Merlot DOC

A Merlot from Le Vigne di Zamò, grown in a terroir with significant temperature variation and well-drained soils. After fermentation the wine rests in oak barrels, which enrich the structure without overpowering the varietal purity, giving softness and aromatic complexity of ripe red fruits, spicy notes and a light touch of vanilla. In the glass it is intense ruby, with cherry, plum and light toasted nuances on the nose. The tannin is elegant and well integrated, with a harmonious and persistent finish. It pairs with roast meats, aged cheeses and Mediterranean dishes.
