Leadslingers 10 Year Old is a bourbon aged for ten years in new American oak and bottled at 58.5% ABV (117 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is made in Moore, Oklahoma, as a small-batch limited release, separate from the core Leadslingers bourbon.
The brand was founded by seven combat veterans, and this bottling is kept at full strength so that none of the barrel's work is lost to dilution.
The nose is warm and woody, with spice and toasted caramel. The palate is rich and layered, with vanilla, sweet toffee, a little smoke and oak. The finish is long and warming, with spice, charred oak and a trace of dark chocolate.
