Leadslingers is a bourbon from Scissortail Distillery in Moore, Oklahoma, released in collaboration with Article 15, a clothing company started by veterans. It is double distilled, aged in a single barrel and sold in a 750ml bottle. The colour is a very pale gold.
The nose has red fruit, such as cherry or strawberry, then dry oak and vanilla. Sweet corn leads the palate, with green apple, cinnamon, oak and a little vanilla. The finish is hot, with apple and cinnamon like sweet apple pie.
