Ledaig 10 Year Old 2011 Rare Find - Gleann Mòr

This is a 10 year old Ledaig, distilled in 2011 at Tobermory Distillery and bottled independently by Gleann Mòr Spirits as part of its Rare Find series. It is a limited release. The peated Island spirit was finished in a first-fill Oloroso quarter cask, which adds sherry influence to the smoke. The nose brings tarry peat smoke with dried fruits, Christmas cake and toasted nuts. On the palate, dark chocolate and earthy peat smoke meet herbal notes, menthol, sea salt and tobacco leaf. The finish is long and warming, with dark fruits, sherry sweetness and medicinal smoke.
