Ledaig 10 Year Old is a heavily peated single malt from Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, bottled at 46.3% in a 75cl bottle. Ledaig is the distillery's peated spirit, made from barley malted to 30-40 ppm phenol levels.
It is bottled non-chill filtered and with natural colour.
The nose opens with peat smoke, medicinal iodine, butterscotch and wildflower honey. The palate is big and oily, with briny driftwood and seaweed notes, then ash, brown sugar and warming spice. The finish is long, with pepper, sea salt and smoke, and a late chocolate pudding sweetness.
