This is a 10 year old single malt from Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, sold under the Ledaig name and bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from malt from Port Ellen Maltings on Islay.
The whisky is lightly to moderately peated and matured in ex-bourbon casks, which keeps the focus on the malt.
The nose is sweet, medicinal and floral, with salted smoke, tar and mint. The palate balances sweet, spicy and medicinal notes of full smoke, salt, white pepper, liquorice, clove and vanilla.
