Ledaig 10 Year Old is a single malt from Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. It is made with malt from Port Ellen Maltings on Islay and matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks.
The result is a heavy, full-bodied smoky whisky. The nose is sweet and salty smoke with clear medicinal notes, tar, polish, mint and floral hints from the coastal climate. Smoke and a touch of vanilla carry the palate, and the finish brings white pepper, liquorice, clove and lasting salty smoke.
