Ledaig 12 Year Old is bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, in a 70cl bottle. Twelve years of maturation have rounded the smoke and given the whisky an even balance.
The nose combines peat smoke, saline sea-air notes, malt and honey, with hints of citrus and light vanilla from the wood. The palate is warm and smooth, with white pepper, dry caramel and a herbal edge. The finish is long, with salty returns and warm sweet spice.
