Ledaig 12 Years Old Gleann Mor Rare Find Single Cask #6991 (56.5%)

This is a 12 year old Ledaig, made at Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull from heavily peated spirit. It was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2024 by Gleann Mór Spirits for its Rare Find single cask series. It matured fully in a 250-litre refill American oak hogshead, cask #6991, and was bottled at a natural cask strength of 56.5% ABV. The outturn was 345 bottles. The nose offers peat smoke, pine needles and a touch of aniseed. On the palate come barbecue smoke, orange peel, menthol and fresh strawberries. The finish is long, with red berries, lingering peat smoke and warming spice.
