A 16 year old Ledaig, distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2023 by Single Malts of Scotland as a single cask. Its colour is a deep amber.
The nose is dominated by peat smoke and maritime notes reminiscent of wet seaweed and tarred rope. On the palate the smoke meets deep earthiness and a surprisingly complex sweetness. The finish is long, with nutty tones and a trace of tar.
