A single cask Ledaig, the peated single malt from Tobermory Distillery, aged 18 years and matured in a sherry butt. It was selected and bottled by C. Dully Selection, a Swiss independent bottler founded in 2019 by Christian Dully.
C. Dully considers it reminiscent of older sherry-cask Ardbeg bottlings, in the manner of an old-school sherried peated whisky.
The nose is rich with raisins, dates, figs and dark cherries, alongside dark chocolate, earthy peat smoke and sea spray. The palate is full-bodied, with dark dried fruits, espresso and peat smoke, and the finish is long and smoky.
