Ledaig 18 Year Old is a single malt Scotch from the Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, bottled at 46.3%. Ledaig is the distillery's heavily peated style.
It matured for 18 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
The nose is softly smoky, with dried fruit, vanilla, sea salt, iodine, a little citrus and dark chocolate. The palate is rich and full, with deep smoke, vanilla, oak, honey and nutty notes. The finish is long and warm, dry and smoky, with a touch of sweetness, sea salt and spice.
