This is Ledaig 18 Year Old, a single malt from the Tobermory distillery that has been finished in sherry casks. It is bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle, in the 2025 version of the packaging.
The nose is coastal and mineral, with seaweed, eucalyptus, smoke, oyster shells, brass polish, subtle berries and tobacco. The palate brings charred notes, wood spice, salt, lemon, herbs and a floral top note, then smoked bacon, liquorice, vanilla and asphalt. The finish is medium in length, with coastal peat smoke, mint, tart citrus and salt.
