Refill sherry hogshead
This is a single malt Scotch from Ledaig, the name given to the peaty releases of the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. It was distilled in 1990, matured in refill sherry hogsheads and bottled in 2006 for the Connoisseurs Choice range from Gordon & MacPhail. The nose is light and fresh, with cut flowers, sweet barley, heather roots, Bramley apples, fudge and toasty oak spice. The palate is medium-bodied, with soft, whirling smoke, toasty oak, spices, pollen, beeswax, toffee, herbs and barley. The finish is of good length, with a gentle warmth.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
