This single cask Ledaig was distilled in 2006 at Tobermory on the Isle of Mull and matured for 19 years in refill butt number 1. The Single Malts of Scotland bottled it in 2025 at cask strength, 55.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The outturn is 636 bottles, with no added colour and no chill-filtering. Ledaig is the heavily peated, earthy side of the distillery.
The nose offers earthy peat smoke and maritime saltiness with plenty of dried fruit. On the palate, oily smoke meets sweet toffee, ripe apricot, bitter orange peel and nuts. The finish is long and dry, with oak, spice, fruit and peat smoke.
