A 17-year-old Ledaig, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2025 by 3MK from a hogshead at 52.5%.
It shows good layers and depth. Bourbon honey sweetness opens the entry before the character turns to a burnt rubber, 'dirty peat' style. The sweetness stays alongside without taking over, and salinity and oiliness follow.
The finish returns to bourbon sweetness with a nutty note.
