This Ledaig was distilled in May 2009 and spent all 16 years in a refill hogshead. It was bottled as a single cask in March 2026 at 53.1% by Hidden Spirits, without chill-filtration or added colour. Ledaig is the heavily peated malt made at Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull.
The bottling belongs to the Pop-People Collection by Minea, and its label carries Minea's colourful pop-art work Masai.
Strong peat smoke, salty sea air and mineral notes make for a markedly maritime nose. The palate is oily and powerful, with dry spice, bright citrus and nutty depth, and the finish is long, with salt, lingering smoke and mineral spice.
