Ledaig 2020/2026 6 Year Old Signatory 100 Proof Edition #76 (70cl, 57.1%)

This is a 6 year old heavily peated single malt from Ledaig, the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. It is Edition #76 of the Signatory Vintage 100 Proof series, in a 70cl bottle at 57.1%. The whisky was distilled in 2020 and bottled in 2026, after maturing in refill Oloroso sherry hogsheads and refill bourbon barrels. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose combines peat smoke, pears, citrus zest, raisins, vanilla and maritime notes. The palate brings smoke, sea air, dark fruit, vanilla, nuts and oak. The finish is long, dry and ashy, with spice and smoke.
