Ledaig 2020 6 Year Old Signatory 100 Proof (70cl, 57.1%)

This Ledaig was distilled in 2020 and matured for six years before Signatory Vintage bottled it in its 100 Proof Edition series. It is a peated single malt from the Isle of Mull, bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle without chill-filtering or added colouring. The nose shows peat smoke with sea air and salty minerals, then citrus, green apple, vanilla and malt. The palate is full, with strong smoke, black pepper and roasted malt, balanced by caramel and vanilla. The finish is long and smoky, with lingering peat, pepper and a slight saltiness.
