Ledaig – 21 Year Old 2001 Mission Gold (Murray McDavid) (70cl)

This is a single cask Ledaig, a 21 year old Islands single malt bottled by Murray McDavid in its Mission Gold range. It was matured in a hogshead, distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2023, with 213 bottles drawn from the cask. It is not chill-filtered and is of natural colour. The nose brings smoked meat, coastal notes and oak spice. On the palate it is leathery, with flint and barbecued tropical fruit. The finish lingers with sweet peat and a hint of chilli.
