Ledaig Castaway FY26 is a limited edition peated single malt, bottled at a natural cask strength of 61.1%. The release runs to 6,428 bottles, and proceeds go to the Mull and Iona Community Trust.
The whisky was matured in a combination of Caribbean rum and Mexican tequila casks. It is non-chill filtered and natural in colour.
The nose brings coastal peat smoke, caramelised banana, lime zest and vanilla. On the palate, smoky spice meets grilled pineapple, brine and herbal agave, and the finish is long and warming, with smouldering peat, demerara sweetness and chilli heat.
