Ledaig Sinclair Series Rioja Cask Finish (70cl, 46.3%)

Ledaig Sinclair Series Rioja Cask Finish is a heavily peated single malt from the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. Ledaig is pronounced "letch-ick", and the Sinclair Series is named after John Sinclair, founder of the distillery. It is made from strongly peated barley and matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished in hand-selected Spanish Rioja red wine casks. It is bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and in natural colour. The aromas are described as strong smoke, spice, grapes and sweet berries, with a lasting saltiness.
