Ledaig Triple Wood is a limited-edition peated single malt from Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, bottled at 53.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. It marries three peated Ledaig whiskies, each matured in a different cask: ex-bourbon, Rioja wine and tawny Port. Master blender Julieann Fernandez made the selection, and the release was created with Island Ambassador and wildlife filmmaker Gordon Buchanan, whose photography inspired the label. It first appeared in early 2024. The nose has poached pears with cinnamon, butterscotch and cream soda. The palate opens with apple strudel and vanilla ice cream, then black pepper, wood smoke and treacle toffee. The finish is smoky, with cloves and a touch of maple syrup.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
