Ledaig Triple Wood is a limited edition peated single malt from Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. It is bottled at cask strength, 53.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was finished in wine, bourbon and port casks, which gives the Triple Wood name.
The nose is sweet, with stewed pears, cinnamon, toffee and vanilla. The palate opens with apple pie and vanilla ice cream, then freshly ground pepper, wood smoke, oak and toffee. The finish is smoky, with cloves and maple syrup.
