Ledaig Triple Wood is a limited edition single malt from Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, made in collaboration with Gordon Buchanan. It was finished in wine, bourbon and port casks and is bottled at 53.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers poached pears with cinnamon, creamy caramel and American soda. The palate opens with apple strudel and vanilla ice cream, balanced by ground black pepper, wood smoke, toasted oak and treacle toffee. The finish is a lingering smokiness with clove and a hint of maple syrup.
