A small-batch bourbon from a craft distillery in Williamson County, Tennessee. Founded by Lee and Lynlee Kennedy, it fills every barrel from local, non-GMO grains, with corn grown on the family farm. It is pot distilled in a full-bodied, pre-Prohibition style, then bottled in bond at 50%. Wheat joins malted barley as the secondary grain, and it stays non-chill filtered. Chocolate pralines and fig rolls meet mellow old oak and toasted spice on the nose. The palate is silky butterscotch with sweet herbs, dried orange and red fruit. The finish brings maple granola, cinnamon and toffee, lifted by fresh mint.
