Table Whisky from Leith Bond is a single grain Scotch distilled in Edinburgh. It matures in virgin oak and sherry casks, is married in Leith and bottled at 43%, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. The cask combination adds aromatic depth to a lighter, sweet grain character. The idea follows European table wine: an uncomplicated whisky for sharing. Leith Bond is the cask store and blending house of the Port of Leith Distillery. The nose offers ripe berries, vanilla and caramel with light oak. Red berries meet fine chocolate on the palate, with a little pepper and a full, creamy texture. The finish holds velvety caramel and dark cocoa, with spicy oak lasting a long time.
