Leopold Bros Three Chamber 9 Year Old Rye is a straight rye whiskey from Denver, Colorado, released in 2025 and bottled at cask strength. It is distilled on a custom-built three-chamber still modelled on pre-Prohibition practice, a method said to draw more oils, aromas and flavour compounds from the rye.
The nose offers caramel, toasted oak and baking spices with lavender, chamomile, cocoa nibs and peanut shell. On the palate come vanilla, dried plums and cherries, cinnamon and cardamom, with a touch of smoke and peppercorn. The finish is long and balanced, with floral notes and a warming fade.
